I feel sorry being absent from here for so long (prepared to face punishment :tomato:)......I still believe there is a strong need of TV Channel on Uttaranchal......Lets do something on ground, to realize this dream.......

  • Revenue Generation through Ads - (a) Through Ads of VCDS and ACDs (b) Ads related to Tourism Industry

Well I am in.

Now, let us see what all is available right now? Part 1 resources (software)

01. AIR Najibadad, it used to air 1/2 hr program in Garhwali ( By the name of Gram Jagat : Interesting, what about semi urban/ urban garhwalis?) and I think it is still available 1730 hrs. to 1800 hrs.

02. AIR Lucknow used to air uttarayan 1 hr program mixed in Kumaoni Hindi and Garhwali. I am not sure if it exists any more.

03. few hrs channel from DD, Dehradoon....... what does it have? any idea??

yes there should be tv channel based on Uttarakhand. & DD Uttarakhand should be proceed to 12 hour channel,
i got information there is DD uttaranchal channel which is shown in Dehradun only for few hours.

people should make some seriels on our languages

04. Jain TV and Sahara TV have news bulletins for Uttarnchal.

05. In delhi various cable operators are offereing round the clock song and dance VCD on local channel

06. There was a cable operator in D'doon who was offering similer service, what is latest status? Last heard it was blocked for airing nauchhami narayan.

07. There are garhwali/ Kumaoni film VCDs available in market although quality is concern.

Haanji to sahebaan kadradaan UTTARAKHAND ke TV ke chahne walo, pahle prelimnary points Online ho rahe hain sab logon se anurodh hai ki ismain ijafaa karte rahe taaki Core Commander ji ka hukum main poora kar sakun.

why there is need of an Uttarakhandi Channel covering all social and cultural aspects....

1.   Large number of UK'ites in Metro cities.
2.   To enhance interest of our culture in new generation a tv channel can be quite handy in this.
3.   People in cities are forgetting there language and culture.
4.   A TV channel can be a helping hand for Tourism in Uttarakhand.
5.   Media can help in promoting UK as a tourist destination and more opportunities will be available for our youth.
6.   Every State has its TV Channel so UK should also have one.
7.   We have to look on the aspect of Quality also as the quality of programs should be maintained so that there is viewership.

Kripya sabhi bandhu ismain sahyog karen.

Yeh points Titu ji, Binu ji aur Sachin ji ke sahyog se likhe gaye hain.
