Kamal hai hum log uttarakhand ke development ki baatay karte ya phir uttaranchal se uttarakhand ka naam change hone per khus hote hai ya phir  capital ke liye he baataye karte rahte hai..such me hum log kamal ke log hai..

Dehradun me aaj aap land ka ek chotta sa tukda nahi kharid sakte..aur udher bahar se log aa kar hamara edher land kharid rahe hai..dehradun me jo land price badh gaya hai uska subse bada reason yahi hai ki UP and Punjab side ke kaafi logo edher aa kar land purchase kar rahe hai..aur hum edher sirf development ki baat karte rahte hai..

yea ek bahout bada issue hai jiski teraf koi dhyaan nahi de raha..ek din eaisa aayega jab uttarakhand me sirf punjabi logo ka raaj hoga..dekh lena

I am fully agree with you that there should strickt Policy on land purchasing in UK. You will surprise to note that in famous Hill Stations of UK  a lot of outsiders have purchased there land. I am talking of such one place of after Dehradoon i.e. Bhawali, Bheemtal, Nainital etc.

But shifting of Capital can bring drastic change in people lives, there is no harm in doing so. Again fund / paisa  ....

You can understand how these outsider people are utilizing our land for their own profits and we all are sitting idle. There are two separate layers in UK the top layers contain the peoples of uttarakhand. But the hidden and bottom layers are for those outsider people who are investing money and getting higher profits.

Like himanchal, we should have the similiar rules for outsider to settle in UK. As far as shifting of Capital is concerned, i am fully in favour of Gairsain. I know there is huge amount of money involved in this but how easily we can forget that our people had sacrified for this demand.

I believe this issue has been neglected by Govt. Cost of land is too high in UK. There many add for residental flats in haridwar / dehradoon areas. There should be some sort of polices on this subject.

DEHRA DUN, AUG. 11. The Uttarakhand Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha has decided to gherao the Uttaranchal Vidhan Sabha on Thursday to press its demand for establishment of the State's permanent Capital at Gairsen in Chamoli district. The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal along with the Communist Party of India and Communist Party of India (Marxist) also announced their decision to gherao the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday. Addressing media persons, the Morcha president, Kamla Pant, said the government's total indifference to the sentiments of the people and failure to save the life of the activist, Baba Mohan Uttarakhandi, had underlined the urgent need for all social action groups that crusaded for the creation of Uttaranchal to unite and work for a second revolution through which power could come to real Uttarakhandis.

Anuradha Semwal, an activist from Uttarkashi, felt that the Uttarakhand activists should try to mould the public opinion in their favour so that the big parties like the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party were ousted from the State's politics. Leaders of these national parties were least bothered about the welfare of the people, she said.

The leader of the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal in the Assembly, Kashi Singh Airy, said that his party along with the leftists would begin their crusade for securing power to the people with a gherao of the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday.

The Chief Minister, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, however, does not consider the shifting of the Capital from Dehra Dun as practical as a lot of necessary infrastructure had been developed here. A large number of big business houses including banks have opened shop here and it will be difficult to take them to a new place. He left the decision on the issue to the Virendra Dixit Commission set up to suggest a Capital for the State.

I am fully agree with you. By doing so, Development pace of UK will also pick-up. Presently, whatsoever development is taking is in and around the Dehradoon what about other places same as it was before becoming the UK.

Sir ji,

During the struggle of Uttrakhand State, people has opted Gairsain the Capital of UK. Considering development of Uttrakhand as it fall in Centre of UK also. Secondly, it would easy access of peole for follo-up of any work etc. Now, choosing a new place mean to hurt the sentiment of people specially the kith and kin of those who sacrified their lives for a separate state.

Meri mano toh na hee Gairsain na hee Dehradun....... why not a new place somewhere on the bank of Ganga or Yamuna……
